TOPICS:

  • Learn the look: With 80 years of the stars, who defined each decade with their beauty and style. We look back to recreate iconic beauty with historical accuracy.

  • The Make-up Challenge - a fun game-changer to help you create flawless faces - even faster!

  • The Vintage Box - Delve into our antique make-up collection to discover what the stars (and their grandma’s) really wore.

  • Authenticity or artistic licence: know the difference, and how to create era-specific or stylised make-up looks

  • Methods: Learn the foundations of period makeup, including contouring, highlighting, and color application unique to each era.

  • Techniques: Master advanced techniques such as brow shaping, lip sculpting, and eye designs reflective of each historical period

  • Finish the Look: Bring together your skills to create polished, era-specific makeup looks, tailored for film, theatre or live events.

AMANDA ROCHELLE

Amanda is an established hair and make-up designer with over 25 years of experience in TV, TVC, Film, Live Event & Photographic make-up. For the past 17 years she has also been an educator and mentor to students and trainees with the ambition to be successful in a competitive industry.

As well as running Make-up United Artists, an agency dedicated to providing excellence in make-up artistry and hairstyling for the screen industries, she has an academy studio in Media City, hosting masterclasses and workshops for beginners and industry pros alike.
